We have servers run by MIT, CCC, Pixiv, Dwango, La Quadrature and various pirate parties. We need more stuff like that. Imagine a Wikimedia server. Or Canonical.

I think Firefox for Android has finally reached the point where it's comparable to Chrome. Scrolling is still a bit janky, but loading times seem on par with Chrome. Great work @firefox!@twitter.com

UI is actually one of the strenge of the fediverse.
There are multible plattforms with each great UI.
But not anyone likes the same UI.

Some might like mastodon UI but dislike the one from plemora.
Some might like the UI from plemora but dislike the one from friendica.

Thought we gain a higher network effect if the multible different plattforms promote each other too.

Like: you prefer a different UI, missing a function, no problem, check out....
