Mastodon tip: when you reply to a toot, by default it's set to "public but not on the timeline" (either local or federated). You can switch this back to "public and on the timeline," which is good for cases when you think the reply might be of general interest.

Wasn't happy with the Mastodon clients available on iOS, so I added the toot.cafe page to my home screen. It's not perfect, but I also didn't have to install anything or log in through another system. Feels very PWA-y.

Hi folks. My name is Nitish (knee-teesh, something like that, don't worry about it), Currently on contract as a front-end dev working w/ Angular, GraphQL, & the Apollo client, and I've got an interview with Amazon coming up soon so hopefully that goes well. Contributed to (some) OSS, but not nearly enough.
