Hey @nitot happy to learn that you're heading Qwant now. Good luck over there!

If you haven't heard of KaiOS before, you probably think Firefox OS is entirely dead. But actually, as a fork of B2G, KaiOS has silently grown to a user base of more than 100 million people on devices from more than 10 manufacturers, making it the third most-popular mobile OS after Android and iOS now.

They just launched proper developer docs, as well as an app store:

* developer.kaiostech.com/

Mastodon client for KaiOS, when? All JS/Web clients should work.

This is a reply to a post I’ve seen on called "Why HyperCard had to die":

loper-os.org/?p=568

I thought people here might be curious about what an HyperCard looks like or how does it feel to use something similar to it.

Feel free to ask me anything about it.

Disclaimer: I work for LiveCode company.

hey , anyone recommends a mastodon or pleroma hosting service? I might want to host an instance but don't want to go through the trouble of provisioning and maintaining my own installation.

Been away for a while because I got too busy. Just sat down to have a overlooking the Cally Festival here in .

You know already... me and my pictures...

I spent the weekend with friends in Edinburgh. Yesterday, we went to a nice coffee shop near the royal mile called Southern Cross and to our delight and surprise there were Brazilians in there serving awesome coffee. It felt very good to see the bags of Cafés do Brasil incorporated in the decoration of the venue. It felt like home.

This was a flat white. Now,

Enjoyed some :coffee: in Pancras Square today. It was a beautiful summer day and I wish I had a book or my laptop with me in that moment.

Any #haskell developer looking for a job in #Berlin? A friend of mine works there and they seem to be good people.

YouTube tech bros are all like "People need to get over Purism removing harassment reporting tools from their mastodon instance, but Mozilla made a mistake that they fixed immediately so I'm never using FireFox again."

Like we get it bro, you're a trash fire.

#introductions

Hi, everyone! We are a workers co-op, predominately based in the UK.

We provide tech services with a commitment to privacy, transparency and sustainability. We have a strong commitment to libre software.

We are especially interested in working with co-ops and other collective organisations working for a better world.

This account is simultaneously posting on both Twitter and Mastodon (Fediverse). Bear with us while we tweak the settings for this integration. It might be a little annoying till we figure this out 😄

I wonder if there are Mastodon communities for fashion. 🤔

I wonder if there are open culture clothes, and what that might mean.

How are clothes made? Can this be done in a decentralized way which benefits from the sharing of information? 🤔

So, I created a new blogpost series in my blog, where I write about #Clopher the #Gopher client I started to develop in #Clojure.

Read the intro to understand the goal of the posts. That will avoid future frustrations.

Today I decided to go to one of my favorite places in Angel, a cozy shop called Six Degrees.

This was one of the very first places that made me feel welcome and at home when I moved to the UK half an year ago. I've been going to other places closer to my home since then but whenever I have the time, I always enjoy going back there.

On the photo, a delicious filtered :coffee: and some chorizo enhanced scrambled eggs.

Look at this nice ☕ from origin coffee roasters. I'm love with this little "decanter" (what do we call those in English?)
