Yes. It is ok to make jokes and be vulgar around like minded people. Even at the expense of others. I say a lot of things that are not reflections of how I _actually_ view or treat other people.
When I take those same offensive words, that are ok around some people, and I use them in the company of people that would find them offensive, that's when it gets sticky.
If I think those words will hurt someone, that's not cool. If I unknowingly offend someone, that is just ignorance.

I just had an interview with a company in Germany. (I live in the US) I felt like it went well, but it seems, from my research, that they don't allow homeschooling over there. Which is sad, because my wife and I want to homeschool our children, but I would LOVE to move to another country to work. I need adventure, and that would be a great one. :(
