Does search only work for names? I need to find more #canadians and #vancouverites
@halkeye You can always use Google or some other search engine to search for people across the Mastodon or GNUSocial networks, site:<instance> being your friend there.

@halkeye even hashtag search results seem to vary a lot from instance to instance - something to do with the federations, I'm sure :)
