#MastodonPerf Managed to pull off a fairly massive perf improvement. 😁 With this PR, Mastodon loads ~319KB less JavaScript, by moving all locale data to separate files: https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/pull/3130
So if your locale is English, you only load the English data, and if it's French, you only load the French data, and so on. The reason It's such a big win is that there's a *lot* of locale data; we have translations for Russian, Arabic, Finnish, even Esperanto – 27 languages total.
